So What's in Anne~Thology?

If you look it up in the dictionary, Anthology is a "collection of short literary works, such as essays or stories." Anne~Thology then is a collection of the poems, essays, stories that Anne wrote. (Who's Anne? Me!) Most of them are accounts of what I've been up to; some accounts from way back; most of them products of sleepless nights, when I need to quiet my thoughts. :)

From time to time you'd also see some works lifted from books (such as the excerpts from the Little Prince, archived) , or from the email. That's because I found them interesting, inspirational or funny or all of the above, and therefore, worth sharing.

And there'd be occasions I'd literally be bursting into song -- luckily since I said literally you'd get only the lyrics and not hear the singing. That's the Looney Tunes part.

I've migrated old blogposts from Friendster, and have archived most of them, but left my favorites out as "recent" blogs so you get a feel of what Anne~Thology is. :)

Anne~Thology is also a springboard to my other blogs Kitchen Conjugations (where I show my Kitchenmaid self) and Memoirs of a Photo Addict, which details my travels and shows my predilection for taking photos.

Why AnneThology?

Anthology means a collection of poems, short stories, plays, songs, or excerpts. My name is Anne, and this blog contains a collection of my thoughts, musings and writings (poems, short stories), some songs I like, plus a sprinkling of excerpts I find worth sharing --hence, AnneThology.

Did you know?

Anthology derives from the Greek word ἀνθολογία (anthologia; literally “flower-gathering”) for garland — or bouquet of flowers — which was the title of the earliest surviving anthology, assembled by Meleager of Gadara.

Look, what I have -- these are all for you.
